You Can Always Depend on the Kindness of Strangers

This afternoon--after nap/rest time, making some pizza dough, and snacks, I took the boys over to the park. A fun family was there. A mom, two boys and a girl. The mom and I started talking a bit. They're a Jewish family, also going through some hard times. We had a really good conversation. She ran to her parents' house at one point to get a ride-on toy to give to Nils (all his trike/car-type toys were left behind in BC).

Some days are hard being away from everyone you know. Then there are those glimmers of hope--like today, when a complete stranger does some really nice stuff for you.

Remember there are lots of us here for you even from the distance. I am praying LOTS! Thanks for chatting last night too.
